By mid-morning, we head out on a lifestyle tour through Managua. You’ll visit local markets, a hospital, and even a home improvement store. Think of it as your behind-the-scenes pass to daily life here.
After lunch (not included) at a favorite local spot, we journey into the crisp highlands. By late afternoon, you’ll be checking in at Selva Negra, a uniquely tranquil ecolodge tucked into the cool Matagalpan mountains.
At 6:00 PM, dinner (not included) is served, surrounded by forest and the soft sounds of nature.

By midday, we’re pulling up chairs for lunch (not included) at Don Facundo, a spot locals swear by and visitors quickly fall for. A relaxed atmosphere with rustic beams, warm wood, and an effortless blend of tradition and modern charm. The menu leans into Nicaraguan flavor: smoky carne asada, rich gallo pinto, and seafood so fresh you might hear the ocean between bites.
At 2:30 PM, we’ll take you to Fresa Nica, where strawberries grow bright and sweet under the mountain sun. You’ll learn the story behind this family-run gem, and maybe even pick a few yourself.
The evening is yours. Join an optional night tour, stay in with a glass of wine, or stargaze from your porch. Dinner (not included) is available on-site from 7:30 PM.
